What Do We Collect?
MetroStar collects two types of data through our site. First, MetroStar collects information you provide. This includes form submissions for marketing (like name, email, job title, and company) and job applications (such as resumes, contact details, employment history, and work eligibility), and any other information you provide when interacting with MetroStar for any purpose. Second, we automatically collect data through cookies and tools like Google Analytics, including page views, time on site, IP address, and device/browser details. See the “Cookies & Other Tracking Information” section of this Privacy Policy to learn more about the use of this information and the choices available to you.

For job applicants, we may use submitted information to assess qualifications, communicate during the hiring process, and support talent acquisition efforts. Web analytics help us improve user experience and site functionality for all visitors. We may also use information to comply with the law and to maintain the security of our Site, or with your consent, or as otherwise disclosed at the time information is collected.
We may use information that has been de-identified or aggregated without limitation.
How Do We Share It?
We may share information we collect with third parties, including the following: third-party service providers who process information on our behalf, such as recruiters, data hosting services, and email service providers, or with our legal or business advisors; any affiliates or joint venture partners that we may have in the future; as part of a corporate sale, merger, or acquisition, or other transfer of all or part of our assets, including as part of a bankruptcy proceeding; pursuant to a subpoena, court order, governmental inquiry, or other legal process or as otherwise required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of third parties, or to protect the safety or security of any person or entity; and with your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time of data collection or sharing.

Third-Party Linking
The Site may provide links to third-party websites or apps. The Site also includes integrated social media tools or “plug-ins,” such as social networking tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with these features on the Site, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with the general public.
We do not control the privacy practices of those websites or apps, and they are not covered by this privacy policy. If you opt out of our email marketing, we will still send you messages related to our transactions and relationship with you, such as communications regarding any jobs for which you applied.
Artificial Intelligence Statement
This section of the privacy policy applies only to information processed by MIRA (“Agent”), an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant MetroStar employs on its Site.
In some jurisdictions, MetroStar may enable AI tools and other interactive experiences that facilitate certain actions you may take on the Site, such as applying to a job, company research, scheduling and participating in an interview, optimizing job listings or otherwise interacting with the Site, Employers, or Job Listings on our Site.
Like all AI tools, the AI tools used by MetroStar may sometimes give inaccurate or inappropriate information that does not represent MetroStar’s views. You should always review any AI-generated content. We’ll continue to build on these efforts and integrate additional safeguards as we improve our use of AI.
AI Data Storage & Security
What We Collect
MetroStar gathers two kinds of information when you visit the career portions of our Site and use AI tools such as MIRA (the “Agent”). First, any information you directly submit to the Agent, such as your name, e-mail, phone number, resume, work history, certifications, work-eligibility answers, or optional equal-opportunity information. If you include personal information in your submissions, the Agent will process that personal information.
Second, session data that is captured automatically: page views, clicks, time on site, IP address, basic device or browser details, and the job-matches or recommendations the Agent generates during your visit. If you turn on the “Don’t save my session” toggle before you start, none of this session data is stored after you close the page.
How We Use the Information
We use information processed through the Agent for a variety of purposes. For example, we use the information to operate the Agent, including to match you with open roles, tailor job suggestions, and guide you through the application steps. We also use the data to improve the Agent’s performance, check for fairness, provide and improve user support, and keep the service secure. We additionally create high-level statistics that help us understand site performance and candidate interest, but these reports never identify you personally. We may also use the information with your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time information is collected.
Why We Process & How We Share the Data
The information helps us run an efficient hiring process, provide every candidate a personalized experience, and evaluate qualifications before any employment contract is offered. It also helps us meet equal-opportunity reporting rules and protect the service from misuse. We may share the information processed by the Agent with third parties as set forth in the “How Do We Share It?” section above.
Retention Period
Candidate profiles, resumes, and any saved session data are kept for up to 12 months from your last activity unless you ask for earlier deletion, or laws require us to keep them for longer, such as employment laws for data about hired employees. Web-analytics data from cookies is stored for 14 months before it is deleted or turned into aggregated statistics. Anonymized insights that can no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely. Sessions started with “Don’t save my session” are deleted as soon as you close the browser tab.
How You Can Opt Out or Exercise Your Rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing or job-alert e-mails using the links provided at the bottom of any marketing or job-alert message. Please see the “Email Communications” section of this Privacy Policy for more information.
Cookie preferences can be adjusted through the banner on our Site or in your browser settings. Please see the “Cookies & Other Tracking Information” section of this Privacy Policy for more information.
