Pete Nelson

Pete Nelson, Chief Growth Officer, has over 20 years of defense and intelligence experience. By his senior year of high school, Nelson was on track to becoming a Marine, gaining invaluable life skills that would later define his career in the civilian workforce.

Nelson specializes in identifying new opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and driving sustainable expansion across defense, civilian, and intelligence sectors. Passionate about fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, he works closely with executive leadership, customers, and industry partners to drive long-term success.

Before MetroStar, Nelson held leadership roles at Peraton, BAE Systems, and Northrop Grumman, where he led capture strategies, built high-performing teams, and secured key contracts with federal agencies.
