Jack Gumtow

Jack Gumtow, Vice President of Strategy & Solutions, brings over 35 years of federal and military experience to MetroStar, with deep expertise in the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD). A former United States Marine and retired Chief Information Officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Gumtow has dedicated his career to driving mission success across national security operations.

Since joining MetroStar, Gumtow has built its intelligence practice from the ground up, positioning the company as a trusted partner in the IC space. His leadership has directly contributed to expanding MetroStar’s intelligence portfolio, setting it apart from traditional large contractors with a focus on agility, innovation, and fresh approaches to solving mission challenges.

Gumtow’s contributions to national security have earned him some of the highest honors in the intelligence and defense communities, including the National Intelligence Superior Service Medal (awarded by the Director of National Intelligence) and two Presidential Rank Awards (issued by the Defense Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Navy).
