The United States Air Force has established the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC) as a contract vehicle to assist the Air Force Materiel Command and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in offering system development, rapid prototyping, system integration, open systems architecture, and enterprise analytics for Eglin AFB and its mission partners. EWAAC functions as the key channel for launching programs that are open, agile, and digital, with a particular emphasis on realizing the “digital trinity” in weapon systems, digital standardization, and portfolio-wide transformation efforts.
