How to get to and from the City and the Airport

The Don Muang International Airport is 15 miles north of the city centre (24 kilometres). Taxi is the best means of getting to and from the airport, a trip generally takes 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the traffic.

How to Get Around in Bangkok

The City offers a range of standard taxi cabs or limousines, all are air-conditioned and offer excellent value. There are also the tuk-tuks, common in Thailand and the Philippines, these three wheel open-air taxis meander their way through the hustle and bustle of the Bangkok traffic, and are lots of fun to travel on.
